Detail-oriented and organized, the remote Accounting & A/R-A/P Clerk will manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate processing of transactions and supporting broader accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities Post customer payments and perform daily cash receipt balancing while resolving discrepancies Process vendor bills and prepare payments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation Provide regular updates on A/R and A/P status to the Accounting Manager and assist with general ledger reconciliations Required qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience Prior experience in an A/R and/or A/P role, preferably in a retail or manufacturing environment Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and solid Microsoft Excel skills Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment Basic familiarity with GAAP principles is helpful
